From a long time poker has been regarded as one of the greatest games catering to millions of player around the world. The game has been around for more than two centuries and has not lost its sheen till date gaining the status of most successful and popular game amongst drawing players worldwide. Online poker was first introduced in 1998 and has become one of the favorites of people. I’m not going to become a full-time online poker blogger, but I’ll mention some online poker anyway…

Many websites have online poker rooms and one should be careful in choosing where to sit and play. After a successful registration on a free poker website, one has to select a room and the type of game one wants to play. However, before choosing the room, there are certain things that you need to keep in mind.

It is always advisable to go through the rules and regulations of the poker website and the kind of games they have. There can be any game like stud poker or draw poker or the most popular one, Texas hold ‘em poker and it can either have a limit tag or a no limit tag. Therefore, the player needs to be careful with these tags. For an amateur, limit tag is a suitable choice.

After joining, spend some time in observing the players and their moves. Keep in mind not everyone is as creative as Tom Dwan! It is very essential that you have pre hand knowledge of the players and their techniques. This is railing and it should give you an idea whether to sit at the table or not. Player moves and raises can help you determine this.
